Teletalk launches redesigned website, and it’s pretty cool

It’s not every day that you get to praise a Bangladeshi company’s website for being user-friendly and intuitive. Apparently, Teletalk has done so. It launched its redesigned website that looks and functions pretty great.

When you visit the site, pretty much everywhere you may want to go is linked from the homepage. The top navigation bar brings up a number of additional contextual links so you can get to the destination in fewer clicks.

Teletalk brought about a revolutionary change in the country’s mobile internet consumption. For a long time, Teletalk’s 3G network was the best in the country. Unmatched by any of its rivals, the company satisfied a lot of users who subscribed to its data packages which are not that costly.

I still have my Teletalk SIM that I was gifted at a smartphone expo a few years ago. However, my primary 3G data consumption has shifted to Grameenphone. I’m not sure how good and reliable Teletalk 3G still is, but GP has been doing great. Especially with its Flexi Plan, I can customize where I want to spend my money on.

And the best thing is, when the network coverage is good, GP gives pretty exceptional speed on upload and download whereas Teletalk will limit your internet speed by the package you choose.

Nevertheless, it’s great to see Teletalk improving its website for better navigation and user-friendliness. If you’re a Teletalk 3G internet user, do let me know in the comments how satisfied you are with its internet services.

  1. Also, that Teletalk is a government run telecom it was overdue. However, if the website revamp also means an overall corporate culture change then it would be awesome. Teletalk customer service, when I had their service, was horrible.
